...one of my favs...

Just having an hour off from making....it has been a busy few weeks since starting being creative again and Lucky Makes is starting to take shape...still so much to learn and do, and I have soooo many ideas but I have to realise that I can't do it all in one day and to take my time with designs. I work full time and at the moment this is just something I do in my spare time. But the orders are coming in now and it's all very exciting seeing my little Lucky Makes parcels being posted off to customers!!

I was just watching Kirsty's Handmade Britain on C4. I was reminded of a real talent who I wrote about in my dissertation at Art School(I did my dissertation on Wallpaper!!)and who inspires me greatly...Claire Coles, her work is just stunningly beautiful and I wish I could machine embroider like her!! Hopefully doing a wee course in January though so will be trying it out on my designs soon!! Have a look at some of these beautiful creations from Claire....
